
Dalton Martins
Dalton Martins has a degree in electrical engineering, a master’s degree in computer engineering and a doctorate in Information. For the past four years I have held the post of Lecturer in the department of Library and Information Science at the University of Brasília in Brazil, where my research has focused primarily on digital cultural heritage collections. I have a particular interest in the applications of data science, machine learning and websemantics in modeling and developing digital repositories for cultural institutions. I am responsible for the research and development of Tainacan, a free software to facilitate and popularize the creation of digital repositories for cultural institutions in Brazil.
