15 May 2019: Conference: Tradition anew! Documenting cultural heritage and artistic creation -interdisciplinary approaches, contemporary media
GLAM Hack designed and implemented the workshop: What-the-hack?!, in the context of the Conference: Tradition anew! Documenting cultural heritage and artistic creation -interdisciplinary approaches, contemporary media*.
In the context of the workshop, participants became acquainted with: (a) digital archives and repositories of cultural heritage (e.g. Europeana, OpenGLAM, SearchCultutre), (b) Creative Commons licenses, and (c) good practices of creative reuses of digital cultural heritage.
In addition, with the use of online image processing programmes and tools, they created their own derivative artworks.
