Raspberry Pi | Do-It-Together Open Source Toolkits
The Balkans Beyond Borders’ Short Film Festival
The digital interactive platform that will be available in the venues of Balkans Beyond Borders’ Short Film Festival -10th edition, was developed within the working group “Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Media” of the History of Art Laboratory of the School of Fine Arts, University of Ioannina, Greece.
The platform is powered by the open source networking toolkit MAZIzone, which combines wireless technology, low-cost hardware, and free/libre/open source software (FLOSS) applications. MAZI has been a Horizon 2020 project (2016-2018).
We would like to thank Nitlab (University of Thessaly) and John Mavridis for the technical assistance and Stavroula Maglavera for the communication.
