The Future of tradition continues in ICOM Kyoto 2019
In September the ICOM General Conference held every three years will tackle the same theme as the International Museum Day, kicking off the global conversation on the role of museums as cultural hubs and the future of tradition. This year the conference will take place in Kyoto, Japan’s iconic cultural hub that combines traditional practices with an innovative spirit, as pointed out by the president of the Organizing Committee Kyoto 2019, Johei Sazaki.
